Jonah’s prophecy on Nineveh concludes in a very different fashion from that of Nahum’s, for in Jonah God says, ‘Should I not be concerned about that great city?’ (Jonah 4:11). The city is the same but this time there is going to be a very different result, for God’s patience has run out, and Nineveh must be destroyed.
