useful volume is Joseph A. Fitzmyer, Luke the Theologian: Aspects of His Teaching (Paulist, 1989). Most recently, the volume edited by Craig G. Bartholomew, Joel B. Green, and Anthony Thiselton, Reading Luke: Interpretation, Reflection, Formation (Zondervan, 2005), merits thoughtful reading. Indispensable is the very recent volume by Darrell L.
