What that may suggest to us is that Revelation is not in chronological order from start to finish, but rather it runs in a sequence of series of events that climax in the end of the age. Again, in chapter 19, we have Jesus coming back. Again, in chapter 20, depending on how you interpret it, you may have the end there. So we have the end coming a number of times.
