previous sessions we were talking about several sections or subsections where Peter was talking about submission. Here in 1 Peter 3:13–17, this is a bit of a transition section. In the previous session we saw how Peter has quoted from Psa 34, and based upon the truth of Psa 34:13–16, quoted in 1 Pet 3:10–12, Peter’s readers are not to fear suffering. They’re not to fear because Peter is saying, through Psa 34, God watches. He listens, and He will protect the righteous.
