INFINITE IN HIS BEING In the context of the Catechism answer it is apparent that by “infinite in his being” the Westminster divines intended to assert that God is omnipresent, that is to say, that God transcends all spatial limitations and is immediately present in every part of his creation, or (what amounts to the same thing) that everything and everybody are immediately in his presence.
