adversity by providing for us what we need to survive. He does not change our painful circumstances. He sustains us through them. This is what the writer of Hebrews was referring to when he wrote, Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need. (Heb. 4:16) The writer makes an interesting promise. When we are in need, God will provide us with mercy and grace. This verse does not promise us a change of circumstances,
