Postlude (111:10) This is a Hallel hymn (see Ps. 106) created in an acrostic pattern in which each line begins with a letter of the Hebrew alphabet in sequence. The poet opened and closed the psalm with a reference to praise (111:1, 10), and in between he said the reason for his praise was God’s mighty works. His works honor Him as Lord, and they provide everything needed for human life and happiness.
