In Christian language, He will share His “sonship” with us, will make us, like Himself, “Sons of God.”1 Christ will “somehow” share his perfect obedience with us when we put all our trust in him. This is no mere intellectual assent to certain truths about certain historical events. This is a resting in, a hoping in, a relying on Christ, and Christ alone. This faith “somehow” results in our sharing in Christ’s obedience, and in Christ making us more like him. Put another way,
