Thus, the apostle besought the Lord repeatedly and for a length of time before he responded, “My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” 7. For what blessings ought we to pray? For “blessings in conformity to God’s will.” In that perfect model of prayer bequeathed to the church by its Great Head, we are taught to pray, “Thy will be done.”
