Luke 2:14 ἐν ἀνθρώποις εὐδοκίας A significant grouping of early manuscripts has “among people of good pleasure,” translated more idiomatically “among people with whom he is pleased.” Some witnesses, however, have “and goodwill toward people.” In the Greek, the textual difference between the readings is one letter at the end of the last word in the verse.
