“[Everybody] thinks of changing humanity, and nobody thinks of changing himself.” Sometimes in a team context where there’s a problem, the first solution is to go look in the mirror and say, “How can I contribute in a way that produces more effectiveness at the team level? What can I do personally to help shape this relationship in the team dynamics that are happening? How can I take a first step of changing myself to make this team thrive and become more successful?”—a good reminder in that way.
