Sinodos Sinodos. A text of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church in the genre of church orders, which include instructions (“canons”) on morality, church organization, and liturgy. Compiled from a variety of sources and divided into multiple books. Four books are attributed to the apostles or to the closely-associated Clement of Rome, and are included in the broader version of the New Testament canon of the Ethiopian Orthodox church. The attribution of these books to the apostles and Clement is not accepted by Western scholarship or by any other Christian group, and no portions of Sinodos are considered canonical by any other Christian group.
