Antiochus VI Dionysus (ca. 148–142 bc). Son of Alexander Balas and Cleopatra Thea; successor of Demetrius II to the Seleucid throne. Diodotus Tryphon, general of Alexander Balas, put forth the young Antiochus as a claimant to the Seleucid throne when opponent Demetrius was still king.
