Ahinoam, Daughter of Ahimaaz (אֲחִינֹעַם, achino'am). A wife of King Saul and daughter of Ahimaaz (1 Sam 14:50). The first queen of Israel, who was also most likely the mother of Saul’s five sons and two daughters (1 Sam 14:49; 1 Chr 8:33–40; 1 Chr 9:39–44). No other wife of Saul is mentioned by name, though 2 Sam 12:8 implies Saul had other wives.
