4 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was aas it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, bCome up hither, and cI will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately dI was in the spirit: and, behold, efa throne was set fin heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a gjasper and a hsardine stone: and there was ia rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an jemerald. And kround about the throne were lfour and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw lmfour and twenty elders sitting, nclothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads ocrowns of gold. And out of the throne proceeded plightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven qlamps of fire burning before the throne, which are rthe seven Spirits of God. And before the throne there was sa sea of glass like unto sscrystal: and tin the midst of the throne, and kround about the throne, were tfour beasts ufull of eyes before and vbehind. And wthe first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. And the four beasts had each of them xsix wings about him; and they were ufull of eyes within: and they rest not yday and night, saying, zHoly, holy, holy, Lord God aAlmighty, bwhich was, and is, and is to come. And when those beasts give cglory and chhonour and dthanks to him that sat on the throne, ewho liveth for ever and ever, 10 fThe four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship ehim that liveth for ever and ever, and cast ftheir crowns before the throne, saying, 11 gThou art worthy, O Lord, to receive cglory and chhonour and power: for ithou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
