4 fJohn to mthe seven churches which are in Asia: nGrace be unto you, and npeace, from him opwhich is, oand qwhich was, oand which is to come; and from rthe seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is sthe faithful twitness, and uthe first begotten of the dead, and vthe prince of the kings of the earth. Unto whim that loved us, and xwashed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And yhath made us kings and priests unto zGod and his Father; ato him be glory and bdominion for ever and ever. Amen.
7 Behold, che cometh dewith clouds; and devery eye shall see him, and fthey also which pierced him: and dall kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 8 gI am Alpha and Omega, ghthe beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, iwhich is, and which was, and which is to come, jthe Almighty.
9 I kJohn, who also am your brother, and lcompanion in tribulation, and min the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, nwas in the isle that is called Patmos, for othe word of God, and for othe testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 pI was in the Spirit on qthe Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, ras of a trumpet, 11 Saying, gI am Alpha and Omega, sthe first and the last: and, What thou seest, sswrite in a book, and send it unto tthe seven churches which are in Asia; unto uEphesus, and unto vSmyrna, and unto wPergamos, and unto xThyatira, and unto ySardis, and unto zPhiladelphia, and unto aLaodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw bseven golden candlesticks; 13 And cin the midst of bthe seven candlesticks done like unto the Son of man, eclothed with fa garment down to the foot, and eggirt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and hhis hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and ihis eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 kAnd his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and lhis voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had min his right hand seven stars: and nout of his mouth went oa sharp ptwoedged sword: and qhis countenance was as the sun shineth rin his strength. 17 And swhen I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And the laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, uFear not; vI am the first and the last: 18 wI am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, xI am alive for evermore, Amen; and yhave zthe keys of ahell and of death. 19 bWrite cthe things which thou hast seen, dand the things which are, eand the things which shall be hereafter; 20 The mystery fof the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and gthe seven golden candlesticks. The seven hstars are ithe angels of jthe seven churches: and gthe seven candlesticks which thou sawest kare ithe seven churches.
