The book of Daniel begins with a date and the names of two kings. Before his days on earth were done, Daniel would have his fill of kings. He lived through the reigns of Nabopolassar, Nebuchadnezzar, Evil-Merodach, Neriglissar-Labashi-Marduk, Nabonidus, Belshazzar, Cyrus, Darius the Mede, Josiah, Jehoiakim, Jehoiachin, and Zedekiah.
