sorrow, and pain. In short time my depraved mind led to rebellion. I began to drink heavily at parties. I skipped school and neglected my schoolwork. I disobeyed my father and others in authority over me. But I compounded my grief and confusion through my own sinful response. My sinful, confused life began to change when I was fifteen years old. During a week of summer Bible camp, I accepted Jesus’ forgiveness for my sin. I knew I had sinned in the thoughts of my heart and I displayed it in my actions.
