Back in the discussion of Galatians 1 we noted that Paul essentially skips all of the normal preamble of ancient letters and gets right to his main point. His thesis is summarized in verses 6–9, but particularly his amazement they have so quickly abandoned what verses 8–9 underscore is an unchangeable gospel.
