Gen. 24:16 16וְהַֽנַּעֲרָ֗ טֹבַ֤ת מַרְאֶה֙ מְאֹ֔ד בְּתוּלָ֕ה וַתֵּ֣רֶד הָעַ֔יְנָה וְאִ֖ישׁ לֹ֣א יְדָעָ֑הּ וַתֵּ֣רֶד הָעַ֔יְנָ כַדָּ֖הּ וַתָּֽעַל׃ ‘And the girl was very beautiful, a virgin, and no man had had relations with her; and she went down to the spring and filled her jar, and came up.’ I. DEFINITION: The III—Aleph verb forms contain an ʾāleph as the third root radical and thus sometimes they are called ל-Aleph. II. FORMS: The most important thing to remember about
