Infinitives can also take suffixes: Gen. 2:4 אֵלֶּה תוֹלְדוֹת הַטָּמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץבְּיוֹם עֲשׂוֹת יְהוָֹה אֱלֹהִים קֶרֶץ וְשָׁמָיִם “This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made earth and heaven.” Gen. 2:15 וַיִּקַּח יְהוָֹה אֱלֹהִים אֶת־הָאָדָם … וַיַּנִּחֵהוּ בְגַן־עֵדֶן “Then the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.” I.
