The Comparative is demonstrated in Hebrew in the following form: דָּוִד גָּדוֹל מִשָּׁאוּל “David is greater than Saul” (lit. “David is great from Saul”) The comparative degree is expressed by the מִן of comparison (placed on the noun with which the subject is compared) plus an adjective. The Superlative is demonstrated in Hebrew with the following forms: (בְּאֶחָיו) דָּוִד הַגָּדוֹל מֵֽאֶחָיו “David is the greatest of his brothers” (or “among his brothers”) דָּוִיד
