God alone—not Job, nor the three friends, and certainly not Satan—administers and regulates justice. “The ode to the behemoth” follows, in which God’s own wisdom poetry stresses His power in opposition to that of man or Satan (40:15–24). The second poem (chap. 41), “the ode to the leviathan,” represents the same essential principles. What the behemoth and the
