Zechariah transmitted prophecies of the Messiah’s two comings. Throughout the book the Messiah is portrayed. He appears in several visions in chapters 1 to 8, and in chapters 9 to 11 He is portrayed as a rejected and crucified leader. Finally, in chapters 12 to 14 He provides cleansing and victory.
