Word of God lodges and grows in human hearts, for there is its real lodgment, rather than in the printed page. The Psalmist says, “Thy Word have I hid in my heart” (Ps. 119:11). The book of Deuteronomy has much to say about the Word of God. In chapter thirty it declares (verse 14) that “The Word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart.” This is repeated in Romans 10:8, with the addition, “that is, the word of faith which we preach.” In 1 Thessalonians 2:13 Paul says to the Thessalonians,
