God wants us to bear His image. This does not mean that we are exactly like God—rather, it means that we reflect what He is like. We are like the reflection in a mirror. When you look in the mirror in the morning, what you see is not another you, but a reflection of you. Once you leave, that reflection is gone. It has no real life apart from you. Why do you think God would have made man in His own image? Man was designed to reflect the image of God so that a personal relationship between God and
