This testimony of the Spirit presents us with the grand result accomplished by the issuing forth of the chariots and their homes; namely, the conquest of the enemies of Israel, and the reengraftment of Abraham’s descendants into their own national olive tree. This great result must be kept in view in a scriptural exposition of the Apocalypse; for it is the consummation of the mission of the Chariot-Hosts; and the Apocalypse proposes no other development than that so palpably and luminously predicted
