rebellion causes us to think we can refuse God and disobey His commandments. In the remainder of Ezekiel 28, the prophet speaks against Sidon, and he speaks a blessing upon Israel. Sidon was another seaport north of Tyre. With the fall of Tyre, Sidon became more important, but God also calls for judgment upon Sidon. Israel’s blessing is a promise to bring the people back to the land of Israel and establish them in safety. This promise may have related to the end of the captivity, and it may also
