The term is applied to angels elsewhere in the book on various occasions. “Another” angel in 8:3 contrasts directly with the seven angels who took up the trumpets in 8:2. The second and third angels bearing messages in Revelation 14 are each referred to as “another” in contrast with the angel bearing the first message
