Why are you asking me to do what I’m already doing? Pray for something dramatic, something that requires faith. Pray for something big! Then I started pinpoint praying. Along with using the Bible as my prayer guide, I started asking very specific and focused things of God. Instead of asking God to be with my wife, I asked him to make her holy, to protect her from the pull of materialism, to heal her of specific wounds, to expand her ministry impact, to put truth in her heart and wisdom on her tongue.
