21. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. This verse is intended to reinforce the previous one. “Be reconciled to God, for an abundant and trustworthy provision has been made for your reconciliation and acceptance.” In this verse the apostle states what God has done for people’s justification. Therefore, the passage is of special interest, as presenting in a concise form the testimony of the Spirit on that all-important subject. God
