3:5–6 a servant in all God’s house … a son over God’s house. The superiority of Christ over Moses is shown in two comparisons: (1) Moses was a servant, whereas Christ is a son, and (2) Moses was in God’s house, i.e., a part of it, whereas Christ is over God’s house. 3:6 we are his house.
