3:2 We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check. The high calling of teacher does not demand sinless perfection, for “we all stumble in many ways” (cf. James 2:10; Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8). It does demand that one strive to control the tongue.
