It should be the goal of every pastor and key leader to develop new leadership. This is true discipleship, to reproduce our lives in others. Teach this priority and model it in your ministry. Show people how to develop new leaders by providing a simple system or structure to accomplish this. Each key leader has a fantastic opportunity to have an apprentice. Recognize and reward those who accomplish this priority.
