לָשֶׁבֶת is implied: “I will dwell again (and again) in the house of Yhwh.” See שׁוּב לָשֶׁבֶת in Num 35:32; Jer 44:14; cf. 2 Sam 1:1; 15:19; Jer 42:10; Hos 14:8 [7]. לְאֹ֣רֶךְ יָמִֽים׃—“Forever.” This expression can mean “a long time” (JPS: “for many long years”; see Ps 91:16; Prov 3:2, 16), but here I interpret it as a construction that heightens or goes beyond the boundaries described in Ps 23:6a: כָּל־יְמֵ֣י חַיָּ֑י, “all the days of my life.” In this way, the final line is truly climactic.
