Then in Isaiah 65:1 the prophet boldly predicted (Ἠσαΐας ἀποτολμᾷ καὶ λέγει) that the Gentiles would be found by God even though they were not pursuing him (cf. 9:30): I was found by the ones who are not seeking me, I became manifest to the ones who are not asking for me.
