He emphasizes the biblical view of God and human nature so you can care for others in a way that expresses Christ’s love. This course is beneficial for anyone involved in Christian counseling.

I want to emphasize how important it is that it’s your responsibility when you’re counseling people to create these conditions of trust. We need to have the highest ethical standards and concern for peoples’ ethical living, and I take that very seriously. But we need to do so in what I would call a grace-dominant way that communicates fundamentally that we are for the person and not their enemy. And that means modeling God’s agape love in our interactions with them, modeling a gracious, sweet spirit,
