Tracing such potential divine actions in the world and developing the theories to describe them will be hard scientific work. As we shall see when we turn to the philosophy of science, it is legitimate scientific work. The recent creationists may fail, but the effort itself will be intellectually interesting. Why should we adopt recent creationism over an old earth model?
