in Egypt; the second Joseph cared for Mary and Jesus in Egypt. The first Joshua led the people of God into the Holy Land; the second Joshua (Jesus) led humanity to the gates of heaven and beyond. By the time Joshua crossed the Jordan River into the Holy Land along with the Hebrews, he would have been at least sixty years of age, well seasoned by his decades in the desert as the right arm of Moses. He, and his forces, were lean from fasting, but solid from strenuous efforts their whole life long.
