Who has the time or wisdom to study all the offerings that come floating downstream and determine which, if any, or which parts of each (if any), are to be rejected and which are to be retained? Biblical counselors are aware of these problems faced by so many of their brothers in Christ and urge them to step out of the stream (into which, as the philosopher said, one never steps twice) onto solid ground. All is not in flux (contrary to what he also said).
