The theory of evolution, like creation, is a philosophy, not a science. It cannot fit into the scientific method of observation and verification. In this volume both theories, however, are viewed as models and tested with the available evidence to see which more accurately explains origins.

True science is: 1) observable; 2) demonstrable; and 3) repeatable. Science is the study of repeatable events and natural forces. (Natural forces are here defined to be those forces which control repeatable events.) Science is a powerful form of knowledge; it allows us, to some extent, to manage the material world and thus make our lives more comfortable. However, the scientific method is sharply limited to the study of the repeatable behavior of the material world and natural forces which control
