The theory of evolution, like creation, is a philosophy, not a science. It cannot fit into the scientific method of observation and verification. In this volume both theories, however, are viewed as models and tested with the available evidence to see which more accurately explains origins.

Biblical creationism refers to the belief based upon the Bible; it adheres to the literal biblical account of creation in Genesis and the universal flood of Noah. It says the “curse” caused the general tendency toward sin and deterioration. This also includes the view that the earth and universe are relatively young.
