You Can Break That Habit and Be Free is unavailable, but you can change that!

Everyone has a habit that they hate but just can't seem to beat. Gossip. Complaining. Holding a grudge. Overindulging. This book gives readers both the tools and the confidence to change--for good.

So how can we overcome our bad habits? One great suggestion we heard is to remember the four R’s: respect for God, respect for self, respect for others and responsibility for our actions. Different people shared with us some of the ways they are learning to control their bad habits as they depend upon God’s help: • When tempted to make a wrong choice, I’ve learned to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Then I pray for strength not to engage in that negative behavior (see John 16:13; Romans 8:14).
