The Prophet Isaiah spoke of a time when God would speak to his people with men of other tongues (Isa. 28:11). “For with stammering lips and another tongue will I speak to this people.” “To this people” is none other than the people of the tribe of Ephraim. This Scripture was given prior to the Babylonian captivity and met its literal fulfillment when the children of Israel went into Babylon. Before they went to Babylon, they were warned by the prophets of God, but they would not heed their warnings.
