The Message of Colossians and Philemon is unavailable, but you can change that!

Paul declares to the Colossians that all God’s fullness is in Christ alone, and only through his completed work are people set free. And writing to his friend Philemon he presents freedom in Christ as the foundation of a new pattern for human relationships.

Holiness is to be recognized not by religious achievements or by a spirituality that is superior to the normal human condition, but by the development of a genuine human-ness, by a freedom that is unafraid to be, in Christ, the person God made us. Secondly, in the making of Israel God was calling a people to himself to be specially his own, revealing by their obedience the divine character and purposes. So to be part of the new Israel is a call to the Colossians to demonstrate the family likeness
