It captures Paul’s use of the word ‘time’, kairon, as well as highlighting the ‘commercial language’ being deployed.17 The idea is of someone eagerly buying up every available moment to engage in mission and ministry.18 Such an attitude is all the more needed, declares Paul, because the days are evil (16).
