(2) glorious Author (Rom. 15:13; cf. 2 Thess. 2:16); (3) wonderful object (everlasting life, salvation, glory: Titus 1:2; 3:7; then 1 Thess. 5:8; then Rom. 5:2; Col. 1:27); (4) precious effects (endurance, 1 Thess. 1:3; “boldness of speech,” 2 Cor. 3:12; and purification of life, 1 John 3:3); (5) and everlasting character (1 Cor. 13:13).
