Biblical theology is an attempt to understand what the writers of the Bible came to believe. It seems to me that as we start this course, it would be good to get some definitions. I’m not going to give you technical definitions. This is not something that maybe is a cutting edge of scholarship, but I want to be as practical as possible so that whether or not you’ve ever done academic study in the Bible, this course can make sense to you and can be used in a practical way.
