The term Biblical theology then must have a very specific meaning since it stands for such a distinctive method of Bible study. However, the term is not always so understood, for it can also be used in a general way. It could indicate any theology that is based on the Bible. Yet if what has been said above is true, the term must have a more particular meaning.
