No. 45 Fragment, incomplete on all sides, of an agreement concerning fish. It seems that X had accused Mahseiah of robbing or cheating him about some fish. Mahseiah was required by the court to swear (cf. no. 44) that he had not cheated. X now undertakes to pay for the fish in money or grain of the same value, under a penalty if he fails to do so. The details are not clear. The date is lost, but the king was probably Artaxerxes, and if the scribe was the same as in 1020, the deed was written
